CARDING

Carding is a fundamental and indispensable step in the fibre processing.

At this stage, the fibres are subjected to a mechanical treatment that makes them parallel, transforming them into a soft, uniform and easily workable tops.

This process prepares the raw material for the subsequent production stages, such as combing and spinning , giving the fibre the right characteristics of softness, elasticity and resistance.

Carding is an ancient art, rooted in textile tradition, but which continues to evolve with innovation .

Integrating advanced technology with traditional practices allows us to optimize the process to achieve the highest quality results, while complying with environmental and sustainability regulations.

COMBING

Combing is an advanced process that refines the fibers, making them ready for spinning .

At this stage, the fibres are aligned, removing the shorter ones and any residual impurities that could compromise the quality of the final yarn.

Thanks to combing , the fibre acquires a more uniform , finer and more resistant structure, making each single filament easier to work with and of superior quality .
